Attorneys here in Connecticut and around the country are using LinkedIn more and more to help grow their practices, including small and large firms. This explains why Sandra Long from Post Road Consulting LLC in Westport, Connecticut was a session speaker for attorneys at the Connecticut Bar Association Annual Convention in Hartford on June 15.

Sandra understands that two new people join LinkedIn every second and many of them are lawyers. LinkedIn offers attorneys and other professionals a venue in which to be seen and to engage with clients and prospects.

The vast majority of LinkedIn members are professionals and college graduates, a sought after demographic. From Sandra’s perspective after nearly two years in business, attorneys are eager learners, accomplished, and perfectly suited to use LinkedIn as a way to effectively build their network and practice. She authored an article in Connecticut Lawyer Magazine earlier this spring on personal branding specifically tailored to attorneys.
