Amendment Phase of the Policy Procedure

What should we do when creating procedures?  Foremost, engage the amendment stage of policy procedure. The policy creating contemplates what authors capture while writing an article, business journals/letters or a process.

Process Creation is split into some steps which are – arranging, drafting, and amending.

Reasons for amendment

When the draft is done, the revision stage starts. Noticeably, the amendment stage searches for errors. Remember, during drafting, we didn’t consider many mistakes and best writing—such can discourage drafting. Revision goes beyond error: it’s the actual writing of the document.

Another way to procedure reassessing

A regular way to address the reassessing stage is through several repetitions, beginning with the big picture and moving down to smaller ones. The big picture means inspecting the policy’s design, impression, and organization. Other issues one should be careful about are the spacing, margins, page numbers, and other information to be added, for example, in the footer or the header.

Things to consider are whether the topics are well-involved, the title block is clear, and references and other forms are indicated.

The revised sentence should be brief.

After the big picture, read carefully through the document while editing the policy sentences. The target is to create the most direct possible and short sentences. Consider certain things while creating brief and direct sentences.

Revise unwanted words

In regular creation, primarily technical is verbose and garrulous.  Editing should be routine to remove many words in the sentence and still maintain the intended meaning. An example is that “to me, that seemed an indication that the project was unsuccessful.” The sentence could have been more concise and more direct: “It seems there was an unsuccessful project.”

Make sure the subject matter and verbs don’t recondite. The purpose should be fast and stated very clearly in the statement. In the case of a sentence where you cannot spot the subject, then the sentence or statement is not very clear. With precise subject matter and verbs (accompanied by word elimination), it changes the confusing statements or sentences.

An example can be, “ the assessment of gumming tendency for the four different tires will be finished by comparison of rubbers scrapped from tires.” When we write this in simpler and legible form, it would be, “By comparing the scrapped rubber amount from tires, we will be able to evaluate the gumming tendency.”
